DCORP B.V., a limited liability company based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands (“DCORP”, “we”, “our” or “us”) takes your privacy very seriously. We therefore only collect information that we need to provide you with our Services, to understand how you use them and to learn how we can continuously improve them. This Privacy Policy applies to the use of our website at as well as any other websites and/ or mobile apps we currently operate or could start operating in the future together, (the “Site”) and all services provided to you by DCORP and affiliated companies (“Services”). If you do not agree please do not use our Site and any of the services it offers.

We may occasionally modify our Privacy Policy. All changes will be effective upon publishing on the Site. With the publication of a new version the validity of all previous versions is cancelled.   • What information does DCORP collect and why?

    If applicable to your specific situation, it is possible that we collect two categories of information:

    • We could collect personal information you provide to us when you use the Services, which could include subscribing to our email newsletter or creating an account (“Personal Information”).
    • Aggregate and Anonymous Data: Aggregate and anonymous data is information that does not identify users specifically, including data collected automatically when somebody visits our Site (“Additional Data”). This may be collected using cookies, pixel tags, web beacons, browser analysis tools and web server logs.     Personal information Why we could collect it
    Name, date of birth, address, copy of ID card We collect this data as part of our profile verification process. We have to make sure who you are in order to comply with ‘Know-Your-Customer” regulation. This means we compare the information on the copy of your ID card to the other information you have provided when registering at our Site.
    Email Address

    If you choose to receive our email newsletter we will send it to the email address you provide.

    We also collect your email address as part of the account creation process. Dependent on the login method you choose your email address may be required every time you log in. When you create an account we will use your email address for functional messages including email confirmation, customer service and messages required for the Services we provide you.

    Phone number We ask for your phone number when you create an account at our site. This field is optional, unless you decide to use SMS messages as a part of our two factor authorization process when you log in.
    Display name This is the name you choose when creating a new account. Under this name you will be part of our community. We will display this name publicly with every Idea, Proposal or Project that you post on our Site.
    Picture, Links to your social media accounts, Short personal description This is optional data you may provide to us as part of your account. This information will be made publicly available on our Site.
    Ideas, proposals, projects, votes If you post any idea, proposal, project or vote on our Site or send them to us to be posted on the Site these ideas, proposals, projects and votes will be made publicly available on our Site and/ or on the blockchain.
    Courses you finished at the DCORP community, quizzes you’ve taken and batches you earned When you don’t have an account at our Site we will link this information to your cookie. If you don’t accept cookies we will not store this information. When you have an account at our Site this information will be connected to your personal account.
    Ethereum address We ask for your Ethereum address when you create a new account. We may use this address for airdrops (distribution of tokens to existing holders of DRP, DRPU or DRPS) if we deem appropriate.
    Number of DRP/ DRPU/ DRPS in your possession Occasionally we will check on your Ethereum address the amount of DRP/ DRPS/ DRPU coins in your possession. We will only do this when we specifically need this information, for example when performing an airdrop or during the voting process for a proposal or a project on the Site. This concerns information that is publicly available on the Blockchain.
  • How does DCORP use my information?

    We use Personal Information and Additional Data to:

    1. Build, operate and continuously improve our Site and Services;
    2. Perform user analytics;
    3. Provide customer support;
    4. Communicate with you and provide additional information that may be of interest to you such as, for example, projects that we believe may be of interest to you based on your geographic location and previous use of the Service;
    5. Send you reminders, technical notices, updates, security alerts and support, and administrative messages;

    DCORP will never sell your Personal Information or Additional Data to third parties. We will not display on the Site, or otherwise disclose your Personal Information to any third party unless it is necessary to provide the Services, when required by law, or if we have good faith belief that such action is reasonably necessary to:

    1. Comply with current judicial proceedings, a court order or legal process served on us;
    2. protect and defend our rights, property and interests, including by enforcing our agreements, policies and Terms of Use;
    3. respond to claims that any submitted content violates the rights of third parties;

    3. Ideas, proposals & projects you submit

  • How does DCORP store & protect my information?

    We understand how important your privacy is, which is why DCORP maintains (and requires its IT service providers to maintain) appropriate safeguards to protect the security and confidentiality of the personal information you entrust us.

    The Site and your customer information are primarily hosted within the EU and fall under the General Data Protection Regulation of the EU. To provide our Services to you DCORP cooperates with a number of IT Service providers that may be based outside of the EU. If you are located in the EU, your Personal Data may be transferred to such service providers in non-EU countries that are recognized by the European Commission as providing an adequate level of data protection according to EU standards (the full list of these countries is available here). For transfers from the EU to countries not considered adequate by the European Commission, we have put in place adequate measures. Our IT service providers located in the USA are certified members pursuant to the EU/US Privacy Shield, to protect your Personal data.

    We employ generally accepted industry standards to protect your personal information and we continuously strive to protect your information and privacy as much as we can. Unfortunately, no data transmission over Wi-Fi or the Internet can be 100% secure. As a result, we cannot guarantee or warrant the security of any information you disclose or transmit to us online.

    Please recognize that you play a vital role in protecting your own personal information. When registering with our Services, it is important to choose a password of sufficient length and complexity, to not reveal this password to any third-parties, and to immediately notify us if you become aware of any unauthorized access to or use of your account.

    We store your personal information securely as long as you decide to use our Services.
